Breathe.

There is a response when someone is down. It's immediate, it is instinctual.

We see ourselves as first responders, and often times we are the first and only.

The power of breathing, of giving oxygen, supporting life.

This is a tribute to the life saving gift of breath.

"I promise to BREATHE for you until you can breathe on your own.

With or without Naloxone, I will always BREATHE."

Kim

"We used all the Narcan so I had to do CPR. I used my shirt to cover my mouth, it only took like 5 minutes.”

Annalise

"I had to BREATHE for my boy, there was fentanyl in our coke. He turned blue, we used a Narcan but he stayed blue so I had to do mouth to mouth."

"I was walking by a crowded Civic Center scene in San Francisco and a woman was yelling for help with her boyfriend who had just gone out. I had Narcan and gave him one and asked her if I could BREATHE for him while we waited for it to work."

Jason

"We had to take turns breathing for him because we got tired and we were scared. I'm not sure if it took two minutes or twenty, but he came back to us."

Eliza

"Life is the BREATH you hold...

Love is the BREATH you let go..."
